TGIF: Full Harvest Moon...

The Full Harvest Moon is pretty special and unique, coming so close to the September 22 Autumnal Equinox.
I was feeling quite pleased to capture the moon last night (Thursday) and delighted to see it at sunrise THIS (Friday) morning. According to earth sky.org, we here in the northern hemisphere should be able to see the moon for a couple days...tho' not necessarily at night. I trust that's true for you. Do enjoy!

Puget Sound...
On the last lap of my unforgettable journey to the Pacific Northwest - in Tacoma now. Arrived about 11 am, PST this morning. Friends picked me up at the train station - yep: trains still run. The trip was very interesting - I couldn't count the number of rivers we crossed over until we reached our destination.
We had brunch at a restaurant on Puget Sound. The clouds...an absolute study! Believe it or not: that black speck is a bird!
Tomorrow, Seattle!
