Chris and mom Dolly start their day reading! Great habit for him, her, both. Soon, bébé Elias will join in, no doubt, once he decides to sleep through the night rather than the day!
Today, I deviated from my usual AM reading - journaling longer and stopping to grab a photo of the SuperBlueBloodMoon. It was durn right cold. Unfortunately, we on the east coast didn't get the pleasure of seeing the eclipse...but that's OK...the moon was majestic and indeed super!
Tonight, Jesmyn West, author of Sing Unburied Sing will appear on the PBS Newshour, for the wrap up of the first selection of Now Read This bookclub, a venture between PBS and the NYT Book Review...I have about 1.5 hours left of listening and plan to finish the book this afternoon...perhaps even knitting a bit. My needles for the log cabin blanket have been loudly silent the past 4-5 days...as my mom would oft say: "time to get a move on, kiddie..." Considering today's early morning temp start: 18 degrees, a log cabin blanket would've felt right good!

Are you an AM reader? Did you see the moon?
Cheers~
