What a difference a week makes! This time last week I was miserable and had about as much energy as a wet dishrag! Today: the sun shines, the temperature - a balmy 78 degrees! - and I feel more human!
During the past days, I've dipped in a book here, there...nothing long enough to grab my attention ...the same goes with knitting and stitching. I guess when one is feeling punk it's a major feat to sustain much enthusiasm. I think it's probably been fortuitous that I got sick this month of LOAD...I've had just enough energy to meet each day's challenge.
Looking at the balance of this week's agenda, activity is beginning to pick up:
- we both have medical appointments - his, this morning (we were in/out in a flash); mine, Friday am;
- gatherings with friends and opera with family;
- a little grocery shopping - our larder's just about bare - and errands;
- perhaps my energy will return and I'll feel more like knitting, reading, stitching...
In the meantime, I shall continue with LOAD and enjoy looking at my new wall paper on my Mac; I downloaded OS HighSierra last night - with Apple's EXCELLENT technical support and I "heart" the visual! Plus: create today's LOAD ! Right now, as I wind up this post, I haven't a clue...
Joining Kat and others for Unraveled Wednesday! What're you unraveling...or not?
Cheers~
