“I don't want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.” ~Diane Ackerman
August's collage is a collection primarily of sights I saw on my walks and travels; eats; the amazing natural event : #21 and #22- the Eclipse - and just my everyday every day. Photo #22 was the cover story of a free daily that the Washington Post publishes for Metrorail and ohter commuters.
Photos:
#4 and #14: salads are a favorite food of mine and I had some yummy ones...
flowers, definitely in my viewfinder, were bright and colorful and taking on the feel/look of fall...
#16 : in addition to finishing the monkey top this hat, I also started -and finished - # 16, the giraffe!
#6, #20 and #27 represent gatherings with friends - # 20, Face Time with my friend Kathy in DE earlier that day before my fall!
lotsa selfies: #12, #15,#24: reflecting/thinking/being; # 19, resting; # 11, walking...
#23 : sunrise and # 10: sunset and my favorites, opening the month, #1 and closing, #31: butterflies!
As I look back at this collection of photos and the 31 days of stories I shared on this blog, I am grateful for the people, rhythms, patterns, choices and extraordinary days that bring joy in my life...
Cheers~
