Quiet. Slow. Peaceful.
I slept in - not awakening/arising until 7:30 am. Norman, on the other hand, was up early - for him- 9:30-ish. He went to 11 AM mass. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of a later-than-usual breakfast: cereal, fruit and almond milk; the latter, my first time trying. I don't tolerate cow's milk at all (unless it'sin ice cream) so I thought I'd give it a try...not bad.
Played around with several mandela -in- the-making ideas and have come up with at least four ways to implement using the cording, fabric and stitching. Over the next week, I hope to give each a try...may be a tad difficult due to our quilt show: Tues & Wed, we set up for the Thurs-Sat show and then, starting at 4 pm Sat, dismantle, finishing by 7 PM. And then it's all over for another two years!
This afternoon I joined friends for a concert : Violinist Augustin Hadelich with Joyce Yang, piano. They payed Beethoven, Mozart, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky. Perfect ending to a lovely, albeit a tad on the cool side, day
Quiet. Slow. Peaceful.
