(plants in a built-in stone retaining wall* )
This has been a quiet Tuesday...
- Norman had an early doctor's appointment this morning so we were up n' out before 8 am...
- I have been sitting in the Great Room all day, since returning home, enjoying "getting to know" my new iPad...this is kinda like the first time since I got it that I've spent so much time investigating...
- A few other items await my attention - one, tallying monthly expenses. I'm several - only four - days behind. I imagine the spirit will move me before the day's over...
- It is quiet now - oh yes, the music is missing in the background...Ah! Fixed that...
- Playing in the back of my mind: several quilting projects I think I'll finish for the quilt show and a new one I want to start...sort of an experimental gathering of different fabric, stitches, all punctuated by play and experimentation...not sure where it will lead - actually, it doesn't have to lead anywhere...
- The sun is out and the temperature is 70 degrees! Whoa, time for a walk, for sure! Deciding to go out and maybe a #7 will come to mind...
- Nice walk...even a tad warm...decided to stop at the drugstore to look for kids' valentines. Do you remember those from elementary school days? Valentines nowadays come with candy but not those little candy hearts that had a quick message stamped on them. I found a box of Disney themed ones.
It's now after 5 PM, time to fix a bite or two to eat. Do you send valentines?
Cheers~
*I'm not really sure how to explain the built-in planter...Washington DC is hilly and some houses have built-in stone retaining walls in their front yards - to keep the lawns from sliding down onto the sidewalks/into the streets.
