Whew! This past Tuesday, I upgraded my Mac OS to El Capitan...that was fairly much a breeze: looked like everything pretty much transferred over without a hitch.
On Wednesday, I logged on and prepared to post my Wednesday Waterlogue...only to discover that the photos I'd taken since Monday were not in my Photos library (which now replaced iPhotos). So, a call to Apple for assistance - no problem there - who advised me to upload my photos to the cloud. I did and thus started a very. slow. process. Very. Slow.
Fast forward to today, Saturday 19 March: Three days and some hours later and several additional phone calls to Apple for answers to more questions and assistance with the process...and HOORAY!!!...the process is complete! All my photos have uploaded and are tucked safely in the cloud (and my external HD) and accessible from both my iOS devices as well as my Mac.
As I waited for the process to complete, I parked in my sewing studio and stitched on my Baltimore Album Quilt (BAQ) block and the Flower Garden (FG) border. I have 9 leaves yet to stitch on the border and I'm half finished with the BAQ - just in time for my Monday class!
And I'm now ready to delete photos from my iPhone, iPad and tidy up those on my Mac.
Have a great weekend...after several days of warm temps and hints of spring, we're in for a little "wet snow" today...
Cheers~
PS. As a treat to myself, I ordered two books from Amazon - both for 'same day' - today - delivery. One is Stitch Stories: Personal Places Spaces and Traces in Textile Art by Cas Holmes. Looking forward to its arrival. What do you do to give yourself an occasional treat?
