(Kayla and her mom after the graduation ceremony)
I've been a tad busy since my last post, last week:
Monday 15 June2015 circa 5:54 pm
I'd started the morning per my usual routine (MSQT) only to realize when I began to journal the day's rock that I'd totally missed the fact that it was the 15th of the month…and time for Simply*A*Moment ... later that afternoon, I wrote:
"Been a full day:
- K's graduation; lunch @ Panera after.
- Spending time with my nieces and sister ~ always pleasant ~ Panera's always a treat for me…and them too. Guess we have to take Christian since we seem to be establishing a tradition with the graduate ;-)).
- K's graduation ceremony was good; she looked great; got awards; sang a solo and got a rousing round of cheer from classmates…I think she was/is popular among them.
- I am updating DayONE as I promised myself I'd do in the PM. Getting close to 5K+ steps…it's about time to go look at the 6 pm news. And it's hot…
- oh yes: set clock for 6:15 pm!!! Done at 5:54 PM. "
circa 6:15 pm
- watching the 6 PM news and enjoying a glass of Pinot Grigio…chillin'...
Tuesday 16 June 2015 circa 5 pm
I met a friend for lunch - Panera again and a bit of (unplanned - for me) shopping for shoes; I bought a nice pair of walking shoes…made here in the USA! Again, it was miserably h-o-t! Too hot to break my new shoes in…so, I had a glass of wine, instead. And then took a nap.

Today's MSQT was rather extended, since it'd been cut short the past two days. Afterwards, I :
- washed a couple loads of laundry;
- caught up on email and blog reading. Elise Blaha has a weekly Friday series: round up from the Internet. Sites are interesting but more importantly, she's clearly creating a post that is the real, true essence of a “blog,” or “web-log,' as it was originally…in the Internet's 'infancy.' Last Friday, she linked to a fascinating article on "keeping a note book” and all the intrinsic value such an activity/action provides.
- I missed yesterday's Ten onTuesday post: summer plans…but I intend to share mine Saturday…the first day of summer.
Trust your week's progressing quite fine, too.
Cheers~
