There has been progress: Yes, my cast came off on Oct 18 and yes, I am still in a brace (til Nov 22) and yes, I have more mobility - I am driving!!! But no, I'm still not able to write as fluently as I expected/wanted/desired/craved. So, my first goal for November:
Goal #1 - Continue to adapt and create work-arounds for most of my activity: to do and especially, wanna do.
Goal #2 - Move More... I've been on my walks without my partner twice...I suppose I'm more cautious than I need be but that's OK. I'm out and about!
Goal #3 - Stitch more...Two weeks ago I made my first stitches on hand applique projects and made a log cabin block on my sewing machine. Actually, sewing is easier than writing. So, I shall continue with this activity.
(These are the Flower Garden blocks I'd made before I fell; I was auditioning fabrics for a new one. Sorry for the poor lighting.)
Goal # 4 - Document everyday that for which I am grateful. Until my fall, I kept a daily gratitude journal; I fell out of the habit because my daily MSQT routine was altered a bit/ alot? But, with the iPad, my iPhone and my efforts to take pen to paper, I think I'll manage.
November and December - very busy times of the year...and I'm ready! Are you?
Cheers~
