Today was my Thursday stitching group's gathering. We met at Hilary's and as we've come to love, the menu was beyond description:
- Homemade split pea soup with or without sour cream...
- Tossed salad greens, complete with walnuts, nasturtium blossoms and hard-boiled quail eggs ...is your mouth watering, yet ?... and for
- Dessert: a wide assortment of fresh fruit: peaches; grapes; watermelon; and tapioca with fresh peaches .
We keep telling Hilary she could open a restaurant - just for lunch; just for us!
