I chose to have three words guide me in 2017. Every year I have any number of options and this year, three just seemed to be right! I'm glad that I made that decision. Each day I find myself living and experimenting with each word, oft times in their not so frequently used way. Take for example, practice: it can be both a noun and a verb and used in a variety of ways, as defined here. And the same goes for complete. Peace, as defined here, especially the 6th and 7th meanings, has definitely come in handy in these trying political times. I begin each day mindful of my three words, thinking about and looking for ways to connect with them...little things for example "practicing saying no so I can say yes to the bigger things in my life; completing a project I started...or deciding not to complete it; stopping in the middle of the day to step back, relax, listen to classical or modern jazz vocals - to do something that brings me peace." I find that this three-pronged approach has been and is beneficial...so, imagine my delight when I opened the box, left inside my front door last Tuesday, to find among other things, these - my three little words:
I am so happy they are a part of my lexicon...and my life! Do you have a guiding word or words? Care to share?
I am joining with Sian From High in the Sky and others this Monday; do drop in to visit them and say hello.
