"It's Simply*A*Moment Day. I missed my 5:15 am wake up call, so I'm tracking the moment now. Just heard a dog barking his morning call, which reminded me. Read emails and thinking about my next move. Thinking I'll move email to another time slot - whenever? Or not. Realized that my new app ToDoist sends a daily email to help me connect with my daily + lists. Trying it out. I sortof miss AnyDO's musical trills…maybe use both? AnyDO's chimes to remind me and ToDOist's features to capture list items.
We were up late last night trying to figure out where water on landing ceiling is coming from; looks like it's the tub. another unplanned expense. Bigger question is not how much but who? However, I am not going to think about that, just yet!
Cissy (my niece), graduates from UMUC Saturday! She completed two online master's degrees, nearly simultaneously! Working full- time, single parent, not easy. Hats off to her. The graduation is at 9:30 am! She's excited and we're proud of her.
These random thoughts are just several of thousands running through my mind. I've been home from my ten-days annual quilting retreat/ workshop in Oregon three days now; my body's finally begun to recalibrate and is back in sync with EST. I think! So, my first cuppa tea is cool enough to drink - think I'll savor it…and then read a spell. TBC..."

And thus were my journal notes in the DayONE app that I have on my iPad, iPhone and MAC. I love how this app syncs across all three so no matter where I am, I can access and update, seamlessly. Pretty cool!
I, and many others in blogland, have been documenting our moments on a monthly basis for two years, sharing them via a linkup on Alexa's blog, Trimming the Sails. Alexa has decided to retire the meme and it is with deep sadness that we'll see it go. I have truly enjoyed being a part of the process and have come to look forward to the 15th of each month. Through the meme, I have met and made new friends and have been inspired. I plan to continue capturing and documenting my moments, each month and sharing them here. For this monthly pause, I thank Alexa very much.
