My goals for September: stopped dead in their tracks!
That's because midway through September, I, fulfilling one of the goals: walk daily, managed to fall and break my writing/stitching/fixing meals/washing windows, etc., right hand. I am in a cast and managing to do a lot of things with my left-hand. Fortunately, Norman, my sister, niece and friends - blessings on all - have been very helpful and ready to transport me hither and yon. Norman has walked with me, nearly every day - sometimes after he's walked a good 2-3 miles himself (he's a walker, tho' so I'm sure the additional mile-plus we tally up is a piece of cake). I have two more weeks in this cast and then, fingers crossed, life returns to normal.
On October 18 - the day my cast comes off, hopefully - I will continue where I left off September 18:
Goal #1 - Move More...and start my day earlier... I was right on track with my plan; TBC.
Goal #2 - Stitch more... I finished the one Flower garden block and had prepped two more plus started a delightful piece I'd planned to give to Pat for her birthday (9/22).
Goal # 3 - Make progress on my PiPs... those three projects came to a complete standstill.
Goal #4 - Learn something new everyday... I kept notes on my iPad and I plan to do something with all the ideas and inspiration I accumulated. Guess the best lesson is handily summed up by Robert Burns: "the best laid schemes o' Mice and Men, Gang aft agley..."
