Today's Ten on Tuesday prompt is all about moving tips...I immediately thought about the different ways moving (adjective) is used and made a list of those things that popped in my mind:
Moving house - I've always loved the way the English refer to moving from one house to another. My mind sees a house on wheels ...
Moving off the dime - something I have been slow in doing today, very slow...
Moving more, eating well is the name of a Big Picture class that Cathy Zielske is facilitating this year. It's year long (one can sign up at any time), offering lots of inspiration for taking two very essential steps towards managing a healthy weight...
Moving forward: some days it seems like I take one step forward and two back...
Moving faster than the speed of light ~ Superman, anyone?
Moving at a snail's pace...ever have one of those days when it seems that the day is just dragging on and on and on?...
Moving not at all - we've all been there, as in a traffic jam during rush hour, often caused by road work...
Moving picture show ~ nearly all this year's Oscar contenders are still on my list to see which means I'll probably not see them until they're available on TV...
Moving target ~ I can't think of an example...just the phrase...
Moving furniture ~ something I loved to do in my younger years. These days I pretty much restrict it to moving the stuff in my studios.
Geez, it's 3:30 pm. Time for me to ge a move on!
Cheers~
PS. And before I close, my numero uno tip: label, in bold letters, every box with a) the room where it goes and b) its contents (in a broad category, e.g., pots & pans).

I am about two days behind but will pass on my thought anyway. As soon as I saw "moving" I thought of the many good times I have had with my wonderful friends and family - truly "moving". Guess I am in a sentimental state of mind!

Now that's a great list ... Yes, we do talk about moving house and I'd never thought of it that way!
